Get off your butt and go move that annoying extension chord out of the background, and then go back and take that photo again.

Spend less time in Photoshop: Tip #1: The Napkin

Dude, this picture makes my eyes water.  EEEEE.  Sorry I couldn't use one of my own pictures for this one :)

Alright, so your subject's face probably isn't this oily, but I swear it's more oily then you think, and chances are: you probably won't notice until you're in post-production.  Save your self some Photoshop time and have every subject blot or straight up wipe their faces off with a napkin before you start shooting.

If a girl has a lot of make up, you may want to skip this steps... but usually it's a good call - especially on the forehead and around the nose.

GO PUT A PACKET OF NAPKINS IN YOUR CAMERA BAG - doo it.
