I just got an email from an wedding album designer offering his services.  He said that he has 10 years experience doing this, but I think what he was really saying was that he hasn't updated his design style for 10 years.  This is a page from the sample album he sent us:

Lesson to learn from this: Hopefully, in 10 years, we'll all have grown with time, not gotten stuck in it.

When an "Uncle Bob" starts following me around at a wedding taking all the same pictures I do, I just start taking pictures of him (taking pictures)... Hopefully after a while, he remembers: he is a guest, not the photographer ;)
